This collaborative case study involved designers, researchers, and developers, with me as the Project Lead. We used Figma, Google Analytics, Photoshop, and HTML/CSS/Bootstrap/JS for design. The project lasted 303 working days pre-release and two years post-release, successfully managed remotely, showcasing our team's virtual adaptability and tool-driven coordination.

Initial Problem Discovery & User Research
Annual conversion analysis spanning 2017 to 2020 exposed a concerning drop in the conversion rate. Fixing this problem is really important for making the platform successful and profitable, and for making sure it keeps growing. I conducted user interviews with eight users to learn more about their experiences and what's making things hard or easy for them on the platform. I asked questions that suited both the user types, using the platform to find work and the ones offering work.

Analyzing the gathered data using affinity mapping unveiled a crucial finding: the sign-up process, and the registration and pricing setup for companies, created difficulties and might be linked to the platform's low conversion rate. This discovery opened the door for more research and possible enhancements.
Design Hypothesis
After collecting valuable insights and identifying areas of concern, we moved on to creating the Information Architecture, Wireframing, and implementing a fresh Design System. With these essential elements in hand, I embraced a design approach focused on users, working to resolve issues and craft a smooth and enjoyable user journey.
I created prototypes to test the design decisions. These proposed solutions were informed by user insights, competitive analysis, and heuristic evaluation, all geared towards addressing pain points and enhancing the user experience.

Testing and Improvements
I carried out usability testing to confirm the effectiveness of design choices. I created a series of tasks that covered different parts of the platform's functions and user interactions. After that, I made enhancements based on the feedback and tested it again.

Subsequently, I conducted product demos for clients, utilizing this opportunity to gather feedback and implement further refinements.
Results and
Continuous Monitoring
I performed conversion analysis for two years after the release. The introduction of the new product resulted in enhanced engagement, higher conversion rates, and increased client satisfaction, evident through the rise in daily and monthly active users, along with decreased churn rates.
To ensure a consistently positive user experience, I maintained my commitment to ongoing monitoring and enhancements after implementing the redesigned product.
